60 People Participate Fishery Product Processing Training in West Jakarta

West Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime, and Agriculture Sub-agency held training for fishery product processing training at Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kembangan, Jalan Kembangan Raya.

West Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime, and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Novy C Palit, said the training was participated by 60 people from eight sub-districts in Jakarta and have been registered as Jakpreneur.

"The training is aimed to add more Jakpreneur member and increase society economy," she said, Tuesday (5/28).

She added that the training also involved instructor from Center for Research in Marine and Fisheries Product Processing and Biotechnology, Ema Hastarini and Diah Lestari Ayudiarti. The fishery products used as material in this activity are making brownies and nuggets from processed catfish.

Rizqy Ardiyanti (21), one of participants, admitted happy to participate the training.

"This training is very useful because it presents new innovations. This program can also help the government reduce the number of stunting cases," she admitted.

After participating the training, the participants received a two-burner gas stove and a magic chopper.
